Support & Giving

"The point is this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Our Church

In order to keep a church running we need funds in order to do this. It is through the generous support and giving of those in the Parish that this church has survived these many years.  As you can appreciate, that as time has moved on, prices to fix and to replace things and commodities like electricity and gas bills have increased enormously. Some are moved to contribute to fund raising initiatives like what the Anglican Women do throughout the year, and that is commendable.  If you, not under compulsion, but willingly feel you would like to give some money towards the upkeep of the church it would be most welcome. Especially, if you normally go to church, but are unable due to illness or going on a holiday, or some other reason, you would like to contribute, a direct debit could be the answer.

Ricky's Place

Our largest endeavour is Ricky’s Place, where we need a constant supply of regular volunteers to cook, clean up and serve our diners with good quality meals. Also, suppliers of meat and vegetables are always greatly appreciated. The church generously provides much of the food needed and also all the other items required to run a commercial kitchen and dining room setup. Volunteers are always needed. If you wish to donate your time to Ricky’s Place we would love to hear from you, especially if you like to cook. Please phone the church office on 64925555 or email us at

Financial business sponsors and anyone who would like to contribute money to Ricky’s Place is most welcome also. Ricky’s Place only survives because of God’s Holy Spirit allowing it to have such success. It is really a highlight for the week for many people and it is so good to be involved with. There truly is a greater blessing in giving than in receiving. It makes those who are doing it tough, feel cared for and even gives them confidence. It also has created great friendships. What a great initiative it has been for the Bega Valley. We invite you, if you can, to have a share in that.

If you are interested in donating money to the church or to Ricky’s Place, we provide below our bank details for a direct debit. If you decide to donate in this way, we thank you very much for your contribution.
