Finding Meaning in the Experience of Dementia Seminar

On Saturday 9th March, 2019, there will be a special seminar on Dementia which will be held at the Anglican Church, 6 Herarde St, Batemans Bay. The seminar looks at dementia in new ways that can be uplifting, enlightening, and encouraging for people who have dementia, their families, friends, and the comminty at large. It will commence at 9:30 am and will finish at 4 pm. The cost is $30 with a concession of $15 for those retired. It will be presented by Elizabeth MacKinlay Phd, who is an internationally recognized expert on gerontology and ageing. She has been a registered nurse and at present is a professor at Charles Sturt University. She has a special interest in the spiritual aspects of dementia and frailty which sounds very unique in this field.
